Victor Group Limited was commissioned to carry out a full lighting modernisation programme across a portfolio of commercial office buildings in Central London, spanning locations in Holborn, Russell Square, Covent Garden, and Tottenham Court Road. The existing fluorescent and legacy LED installations were ageing, inefficient, and increasingly difficult to maintain — creating both cost and compliance concerns for the property management team.
Our approach began with a site-by-site lighting audit, producing lux-level measurements and energy consumption data that formed the basis for our upgrade recommendations. Victor LED designed a system specification around high-efficiency LED panels and linear fittings, paired with DALI-controlled smart dimming and presence detection throughout. The result: consistent, comfortable working light levels that meet current workplace standards, with automatic dimming and occupancy control reducing energy use substantially during out-of-hours periods.
Victor Power managed the associated electrical works — including distribution board upgrades, circuit re-labelling, and integration with the existing BMS across each site. The phased delivery programme allowed works to be completed floor-by-floor with minimal disruption to tenants.
